All donations to this fund will go directly to those affected. Save The Children has released 10 tips for parents wondering how to help their children deal with their feelings about such a traumatic event, such as spending extra time with your kids, and limiting TV time. Be my Valentine to benefit Save the Children’s programs for kids living in poverty in the United States. The set of 30 limited edition cards ($25) can be purchased on OpenSky.
Wouldn’t it be wonderful, if you’re going to buy valentines anyway, that it’s for a great cause? That’s the inspiration behind this special event.- Julianne Moore “They’re a great choice for your kids to give to their school mates or anyone… because they represent the love of reading,” she says. “I personally chose each author and illustrator of the cards and I think you’ll love them.”
How awesome is that! Happy early Valentine’s Day lovers and friends!
This project is what iHeartKids is about. People coming together, creating, loving and doing beautiful things for kids everywhere!

After hearing about this game on the Ellen Degeneres show a few days ago, I am now addicted to WeTopia!
By playing this game on Facebook, you’ll be helping kids around the world. Its made by our lovely friends at Save The Children. You start off with creating a town, populating it and earning coins, experience, and joy. You can then use the joy to help fund several goodwill projects/movements and charities like Haiti Hot Meal where you can help end hunger in Haiti, the US Literacy Program, and the US Mobile Dental Clinic. So, by playing this game, you don’t only entertain yourself and watch your little WeTopia grow, but you are also helping out people—KIDS, the future generation—and are making a change for the betterment of the world. Here’s a look at my little town! I hope more and more people play this game and spread the word. So instead of wasting time on facebook why not help make a change for the better 🙂
